Who We Are
We would like to thank everyone who attended our June 10th Honors Luncheon, we had a great crowd. This event was a wonderful
opportunity to thank three of the most staunch supporters of the Republican Party in Sumner County: Dr. David Black,
Mr. John Evans and Mr. Tommy Whittaker. We would also like to thank Congressman Diane Black, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey &
Rep. Debra Maggart for attending this event and sharing personal stories about the honorees.
Please see our Gallery for photos of this wonderful event.
The Sumner Republican Young Professionals is a group of young men and women dedicated to effecting real change. Our mission is to promote the growth and acceptance of the Republican Party among young professionals in our community. We believe our voice to be strong and that young people should see the Republican Party as their natural political home- we are committed fully to building the Republican Party while cultivating its next generation of conservative leadership.
We are Sumner County's official Young Republican club, chartered by the Tennessee Young Republican Federation and a recognized auxiliary organization of the Republican Party of Sumner County. Our membership is comprised of young professionals ranging in age from 25 to 45. We've found our goals are best achieved by combining a little bit of politics with a whole lot of fun!
The Sumner Republican Young Professionals meet the 3rd Thursday of each month*. Our regular monthly meetings are held at Barefoot Charlie's, located on the lake at 125 Sanders Ferry Road in Hendersonville. Everything kicks off at 6:30 with happy hour and dinner specials available exclusively for SRYP members and guests. If you've never been to one of our meetings, no RSVP is needed- just stop in and join the fun! Be sure to get the latest Sumner Republican Young Professionals news as it happens: sign up for our e-mail list or find us on Facebook.
We hope to see you soon!
*In lieu of an October meeting, we host an Oktoberfest celebration. December's regular meeting is replaced by a Christmas Party. Please check our calendar page for the latest information about meetings and other events.
